Also, is the TrueLife display on the E1405 that much better than that which comes on the D620?

    Thanks a lot.

You can get D620 with a dedicated GPU.

Is D620 a new release from Dell along with E1405? Is it for Dell Small Business?

If I understand it correctly, D620 only comes with the 256MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 110M TurboCache video card (no other choices), how is this video card compared to the E1505's ATI X1400?

    Anyone?

Nice, they're finally rolling out the D620 with the Quadro again..... 'bout time! :D

The D620 was released a little over a month ago; and yes, it is found in the Small Business section.

It's not extremely new, but yes it is on Dell's Small Business site.

Theoretical question: What if I wanted to buy the D620 with the Dedicated card, will they moan and groan over it? It is only a $60 option.

The E1405 has a True Life option which is supposed to have better contrast.

No one has the E1405/640m yet, The differences that I have read on these 2 14.1" WXGA+ screens is that the D620's is matte with a brightness of 220nits with wider viewing angles and the E1405/640m is 180nits with lower viewing angles and it has the TrueLife gloss on it.

I am receving my E1405 today with the WXGA+ TrueLife display and comparing it to the 630m's WXGA TrueLife display.

Isn't the E1405 Truelife *UltraSharp* screen with improved viewing angles as well?

In favor of the E1405, you can coupon a loaded machine down to a very reasonable price. I have never seen any Latitude coupons.

Oh Dem, I just noticed that they included the "UltraSharp" moniker on the E1405, makes me happy knowing that it might be a good screen.

BUT, when you click on the link, "help me chose" and hit the details, notice how the viewing angles are exactly the same along with brightness and contrast, but for the D620, i am sure the UltraSharp matte screen had better brightness and viewing angles.

    Makes me wonder.
