Looking to pick up a USB Hub and was wondering if I connect it to the USB port on the right side (not the USB/eSATA port), will it be powered?
Or will it not matter because I'll have the USB Hub connected by its AC Adapter?

All USB ports on a laptop are powered to at least 500mA, and a hub will just split this among the attached devices. This is sufficient for running things like cameras and flash drives, which do not require a lot of power, but for more power-hungry devices like fans and portable hard drives, you will need a hub with an AC adapter.

Typically, hubs with 4-5 or less USB ports are powered by the USB port, those with more are typically powered by a separate AC adaptor.
All USB ports are powered (although not all are powered when the laptop is in standby - some will have an additional lightning bolt symbol next to the USB symbol, indicating that it is), so they will support all USB hubs.
If your hub has an AC adaptor, don't worry about the power of the USB - the power is coming from the AC. If not, then make sure that when you are using it in your USB port, you do not overload that port (ie: cooling fan plus two 2.5" hard drives). That would not supply enough power to power your devices.
Are all the USB ports (specifically the right side one) powered on Studio 15s?
