The one year warranty for my Dell Inspiron 1505 is about to expire in mid December. Dell has sent me a contract for a three year extension of my on-site warranty for a $300 fee. Can these contracts be negotiated on the phone with a Dell CSR for a lower fee? What are your experiences with this? Thanks.

well you could get a 2 year or 1 year extension, do u really think you will use it for another 3 years?

but then again, 2 years down the road, you could throw it in the pool, and get a new model from them
