I'm thinking about selling my dell laptop to trade in for an EEE PC. Could anyone price this thing? So here are the specs:

    1.67ghz Core 2 Duo
    2gb 667mhz ram (I can replace this with 1gb 800mhz)
    80 gb SATA HDD
    14.1" display
    ~2-3 hour battery life
    DVD/CD burner
Intel 945 integrated video (crappy, but plays wow/portal just fine )
Loaded with a fresh install of Vista home premium+ MS office 2003

The keys are a visably worn by use but not cracked/scratched in any way. There are no physical defects or indications that it's been used except those worn keys and worn wrist-rests. This was bought last february so it's just a year old. Anyone know how much this is worth? Thanks in advance.

The only way to "confirm" it is to find a willing buyer...

No one knows exactly what someone will pay for your machine. Want a good estimate view eBay...

I'd say that estimate is a little high. A refurbished Dell 1420 direct from Dell with these specs is only $629:

    Operating System
    Genuine Windows Vista Home PremiumMemory
    2 GB DDR2 SDRAM 677MHz (2 DIMMs)Hard Disk Drive
250 GB EIDE Hard Drive (5400RPM)Video
Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100Software Upgrade
Microsoft Works 8.5 with MS Office Trial Version SoftwareCertified Refurbished
    Certified RefurbishedBase
    Inspiron 1420 Laptop: Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 (1.66GHz/667Mhz FSB/2MB cache)Media Bay
8X DVD +/- RW w/dbl layer write capabilityNetwork Interface Card
    1390 Wireless CardHardware Upgrade
    Dell Travel Remote Control
    6 Cell Primary Battery
Integrated 2.0 Mega Pixel Web CameraSystem Color
    Jet BlackLaptop Screen
14.1 inch WXGA TrueLife Laptop Screen

I'd say you may be able to get $500USD. A little more if you sell locally....

I think $450-550 USD is a fair price range.
