If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

Because if you mess up you're bios, you machine is a expensive paperweight.

I have the A03 BIOS already. If I were you, I'd just download it anyway. It's more likely to fix problems than it is to mess up your laptop.

Well, on the Dell website, it says this:

    Fixes/Enhancements
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fix issue where the system may not enter S3 when certain WWAN is assembled

The BIOS release has been validated on the following operating systems:
    1. Microsoft Windows Vista
    2. Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2

So basically, it just fixes an issue with S3 resume and WWAN.

I think I am going to be sticking to my A00 bios. Don't see any need to upgrade to this.

As a general rule, don't flash firmware or BIOS if you found no problem or you are not adding a new function. Although the risk is low, but any interruption during the flashing may cause un-recoverable problem. Sometimes, you need to get a new ROM to fix the problem. In addition, not all newer BIOS may add benefit to your system, particularly when you have no problem to begin with. Certain BIOS has been reported shortening battery time.
