No and even the screen listed on your Packing slip may not be right. My screen is a Seiko, and on my packing slip they have it listed as a LG.

SEC screens are Sumsungs. I know because when mine was pulled out it had the Samsung logo on the back. Plus, my replacement screen said SMSNG on the repair item document.

Umm, everything I have heard says the SEC are Seiko-Epson screens, a person on this forum even contacted Samsung with that part number and they replied back that they do not manufacture SEC screens. In Kubuntu my SEC3350 screen is listed as Seiko too. Also check out http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3846&review=Dell+Inspiron+1520

Either you are seeing things, or every piece of information I have gotten is wrong.

I hate to say it but every piece of information you have been getting is wrong.

I am actually shocked that everyone has been saying it is Seiko-Epson, when if you take your screen out you will clealy see a the Samsung logo ( the oval with white lettering) on a white sticker.

Plus my Dell repair confirmation note even said "SMSNG" in the description.

    So it's definately a Samsung.
