This is my 2nd Vostro 1500 as my original had a terrible grainy screen. The screen on the new one is fantastic, however, the bottom left rubber foot is not as big as the others, therefore does not touch the table surface. This then causes the whole lap top to wobble when pressure is applied, e.g when typing on the keyboard.

Is there anyway to stop this (other than putting a tissue or something underneath it) I really do not want to have to send it back incase of getting another bad screen.

Glue something on to it. I’m sure you can find something small and black to make it inconspicuous.

If you believe this is just a defect, I would contact Dell and ask them to ship you a replacement foot. That is a rather small/cheap part so I bet they wouldn't have a problem with it.

If you would prefer to save some time, you can visit a local craft store. Usually you can find rubber feet of different sizes and colors. Depending on how the foot is attached (I am assuming that it is adhered with some type of glue) you can purchase small Adhesive backed Mylar strips that can be cut down to the shape of the foot. You can remove the foot and and place the strip between it and the laptop. Sounds like a shoddy work around, but it is actually really practical. Good Luck.

I thought about ringing dell and asking them to send a replacement that i can attatch myself, however they seem well in truly stuck in position, there is no way to make them budge, so I guess the thing to do would be just to attach another set of 4 feet onto it.
