I was playing Test Drive Unlimited on my 1400 last night and realized I can't zoom the map in and out (big pain) since it's hard coded to scroll wheel... and I don't have a scroll wheel... the side scroll area doesn't do it... anyway around this?

Get a third party App to map a keyboard button to the scroll wheels? I don't know if any exists, but that's the only bet for you at this point... Or get a USB Mouse.

The game you're playing doesn't have an option to remap the function to something else?

I don't want to sound offensive, but:
He explicitly stated that it's hard coded to the wheel, so I doubt Pg Up and Pg Down will help in this instance.

That said, it's definitely worth a try if you've exhausted all your other options... (Then again, you could always get a 9.99 USB Mouse)

On the touchpad if you graze up and down the very, very right edge that is the scroll wheel :)

Yeah, this is true for ASUS/HP/Compaq notebooks as well (Or at least the ones I've tried/owned).

Not sure about Dell's, but it's worth a try :)

I use the side touchpad thing to scroll in windows all the time but it didn't seem to have any effect in TDU... I didn't try pg up and down so I will give those a shot but I was unable to find anywhere to remap those particular functions in the game menus...

Thanks for the input, I will report when I get a chance to try again...
