I've finally decided to go with an e1505, and can get a great price right now through dell with coupons. However, I won't have the money together for 1 or 2 weeks. Is there anyway I can "save" the dead, or do some sort of layaway program? I would hate for me to miss out on this laptop's great price because of a week delay...

Dell usually has some sort of coupon out. The $750 ones, however, are rare, from what I've seen at least.

You could finance it through Dell and then make payments on it.

I don't know if you're allowed to pay it all off w/ out penalty when you have the $$ or not.

Yeah like people said, there's really no way to "save a dell-deal." Although the best way to resolve the issue to get a really, really close friend and ask him to loan you some money.. with maybe a little tip on the side/downpayment. You could also go to some relatives... but just make sure you pay them back when you do... they might get a tad mad if you steal from them ~$1000 :D:p

and btw dun miss on this $850 off of 2000+ deal ;)
...that is if $1150 is your budget.

Call a sales rep and have them build your system, and then have them apply the coupon. When it's all done and it matches up what you want, tell them to email you a quote. Have them send you a quote for every different configuration your intrested in since after the coupon expires, theres no way for sales to recreate the deal or modify the quote. Thank them, tell them you need some time to think about it, and when your actually ready to order, just use the link in the quote, or quote number. They say the quote is only good for 24 hours, but i've used them two weeks later, and then some, which goes to show the Dell sales computer is intrested in selling things, not haggling over expired discounts.

If it works with the online shopping cart, it will work for the sales rep. Some of them are no more than human versions of the website because if I didn't know any better, they just do the clicking and typing for you because I've always been able to recreate this "super" deal they put together online.

its past 12am here, and decided to try the coupon, and it still works. im not too excited just because they prolly havent updated their system yet. if you really want to know if the coupon still works, i guess you should try later in the afternoon
