    Anyone waiting on a Brown 1520?

    Hey everyone, I Just ordered a brown 1520 there a few days ago, the 8th of august to be precise! The estimatated delivery date I was given id the 18th of September! I was just wondering could I expect at all to see this early as the date they provided was so far off? Or do you think I would be lucky to see it by christmas :rolleyes: ?!

    Im hoping brown Isn't a Popular colour! ;)

    Edit: Have read about all the problems people have been having, just wondered if anyone else was given a really over the top estimated date at the start, then found it to be further delayed

    I had brown. I ordered July 30th. Dell shipped it yesterday.

    I ordered a brown on the 23rd of July and was supposed to arrive last monday. But they delayed it till the 17th. :/

    My specs:
    t7500, 120gig HD, 2gig ram, 8600 gt, 1440x900 screen, webcam

    It would be hard to tell if yours is shipped on time mainly cause dell isnt consistent as you can see with Illini Pride. As bad as it sounds, its pretty much the luck of the draw dude.

    I'm in almost the exact same situation as you. I ordered July 21st and the ship date was Aug 6. Now they are saying the 17th. Hopefully they're true to their word this time.

    Ordered 7/24. Original ESD was 8/7. Now delayed to 8/28. Eager to know when others are getting theirs.

    i orderd the same thing

    ordered 1/08/07 in production 2/08/07 shipped 07/08/07 yet to be delivered though because dell gave me a fukin courier....so u should expect it sometime soon(thats if ur lucky..lol..)i suggest u do a lotta praying to the Dell GOds.

    I ordered brown 1520 on Aug. 2, estimated delivery is Aug. 28.
    I ordered pink 1520 on Aug. 7, estimated delivery is Sept. 7.
    Waiting sucks. :(

    True. I don't know why, but I have a good feeling about it this time. A lot of 1520s are getting shipped out recently on these forums and I haven't heard about any further delays than the mid-late august ones.

    Of course if this isn't true, Id be crushed.

    Ordered Esp Brown 1520 on July 30th, est ship is today and it's already past noon, but it's still in the build stage. I'm not holding my breath it will change due to the industry wide part shortages, b.s or other excuses they provided when I spoke by phone with DCS last night. Can anybody provide updates on whether Dell shipped recently with spec's similar to mine?

    If the Dell rep is right about the shortages of brown lids...

    Is anyone still waiting on brown 1520's that have been delayed past the original est ship or has anyone gotten theirs recently?
