Has anyone used the DELL ATG outdoors yet? It's screen is supposed to be bright, but it is not a transflective screen, so I am wondering just how usable it is outdoors. Do you have to squint to see what is on the screen?

There are some outdoor shots of it in the review section. Nice name by the way, are you by any chance a fellow reefer?

I saw the review, it had a photo of the display outdoors which looks promising, but it didn't look like a very sunny day. I am really trying to see if anyone has actually used it outdoors, not just took it outdoors once to see what it looked like. I am considering the Portable1 Trio-View screen which is transflective, but it has a glossy surface and a photo from one user shows some reflections. I am spoiled by my old NEC Versa Daylite which has a screen that is better the more the light on it - unusable indoors but excellent outside (instead of being transflective, it is reflective on the back surface and matte on the front surface). The problem is that the Daylite is a Pentium3 with 10" screen, so I need to get more horsepower.
Yes, I am a fellow reefer with a stonies tank and a softies tank in my home office, Obi-Dad on Reefcentral. Check out my tanks on our club website www.ctars.org . My parents and brother live in TN, wish I was there. Here in CT I am seeing snow out my window, next to my reef aquarium - very bizarre contrast. -

That review has the only outdoor shot I've seen. I've got a mixed reef, though due to health issues and a fairly primitive setup my acros arent doing so hot anymore, LPS's and montis are thriving though. I'm on living reefs and reefs.org under the same screen name. Oh yeah welcome to the forums.
