I should be getting my e1505 on monday or tuesday and I'm planning on undervolting it to get a little more battery life and to keep it quieter but I haven't really heard about undervolting a dual core processor. I believe RMClock supports it but I would love to hear from anyone who has tried it.
Thanks.

i believe the lowest step of speedstepping can not be undervolted;
this has led me to believe there's little use to undervolt with the
core duo. -
Oh man, I was hoping to undervolt my new comp....this is a disapointment.
I just found this on the internet, most disaponting - http://forum.rightmark.org/topic.cgi?id=6:500 -
actually i just got my E1505 last week and i used NHC to undervolt
it works great and has extended my battery life to almost 6 hours with Wi-fi on! -
ghsoccer4, would you be so kind as to post the settings you used in NHC? I'm new to these utilities, and I know that each chip is a little different so I may be able to undervolt more/less than you; but it would at least give me a frame of reference.
Thanks. -
I thought you were not able to undervolt Dual Core!! Does anyone have a definitive answer on this?
-
ghsoccer4 ... any word on the settings you used?
Did you actually use your system for almost 6 hours...or did you mouse over your battery status and it said there was almost 6 hours remaining? -
agreed. please post your settings so that others
may enjoy a similar battery-life improvement.
Anyone tried undervolting the duo core yet?
