Anyone recieved there 1530?

man, mine won't ship till the 20th. i'm really dreading the screen though. not looking forward to scrolling left and right on webpages... but hey.... maybey they will just throw in a nice lcd without telling us as a christmas gift???...???

I doubt you will need to scroll left and right, at least on webpages. I have a 1024x768 standard aspect monitor, snd rarely need to scroll horizontally on web pages. On the contrary, I find it frustrating and wasteful that a lot of websites leave a fair amount of empty space on the left and right edges.

Most monitors are still standard aspect instead of wide aspect; so I expect that it will be a few years before wider websites become common. Even then, I expect that there will be a workaround. For example, you can choose an option in IE that allows it to resize images so that they don't go beyond the left and right margins.

 

My screen is 1280x800 and I never have to scroll horizontally. I actually feel that 1280x800 is the best resolution to view webpages with.
