Speaking of coupons, when does Dell offer the best coupons/discounts to businesses? I just found out my company has a huge deal with Dell (thousands of Dell computers in the labs). I wanna' use it to cash in on an M18x or something :) :)

Look at your HR intranet, there should be a benefits website.

Or call Dell and say "I work for so-and-so and my procurement department told me we can get up to 30% (or make up a higher number if you want) off Consumer and Alienware brands" (They don't sell business laptops to individuals at the discounted price).

Even better will be if you ask your procurement department to order it for you. We had people order XPS and Alienwares through them!

I'm definitely going to have to order it myself (I wouldn't trust anyone to get an order right for my new baby), so I suppose you've given me a good start here. +1 rep :D

I am in fact a high roller so I'll probably start off with a 35% or 40% figure. It's always easier to negotiate it than give them a silly spineless expectation from the beginning. They do want my moneys I suppose on their most expensive/overpriced line

@hankaaron57, i am an existing customer. and i'm on the mailing list. i think if you just register an account on dell, you'll get free coupons.

here's a trick too: sign into dell, configure a laptop and leave it in your cart. exit the page and then leave it there. in a few days dell will prob send you an email for a coupon about the item in your cart.

also, twitter.com/delloutlet always offers coupons if you want to go the outlet route(i've purchased 3-4 laptops from dell outlet, no problems)

Outlet only has M11x's in stock right now :( (for Alienwares)

I did however configure a latitude 6400 with the ballistic missile casing LOL. Thing looks badazz.
