Anyone know who ODMs the Vostro notebooks?

I'm reluctant to suggest them to anyone until I spend a couple years of reliability testing myself. Knowing the ODM would certainly help.

I would guess Compal. Didn't they do the Inspiron notebooks that have the same body design as the Vostro?

I'm thinking Foxconn - unsurprisingly the motherboard is a Foxconn but also a lot of the case parts are marked Foxconn too.

There is no odm. I researched and posted this earlier. Dell is different than most companies. They do 90% of the research and design themselves. They do refer to other companies from time to time (case in point the m1330) but for the most part, they are all original and have no odm. I could be wrong, but a few months ago i spent hours researching and that was my determination.
