I'm tired of talking to some guy in India who I can barely understand...especially when I'm asking him about the tech specifications of the XPS laptop. If he/she is open to price negotiations, that'll be even better..

    Thanks

I would recommend against Domenic Apa. He's tough to deal with, screws up the order and takes a long time. At least in my expirience. Though, we did recieve everything and it was in good order. I bet there's worse.

This is an old thread but I'd like to ask the same question as the OP. I'm ready to buy but I phoned and talked to a rep in India who was completely uninterested in my business. All I want to do is narrow the big price gap from the Dell Canada site and the Dell USA site, considering our dollar is equal now.

The USA site has good online coupons that the CA site doesn't making the CA prices a rip. The CA prices are a joke. Even Staples in Canada sells the XPS 1330 on sale for less than the same system from Dell but you can't customize it ( I want LED screen). Thanks.

I think from what I understand the CSRs we deal with are here but I think the sales side is handles out there..not sure of any alternatives...just try another rep...some are more receptive than others and are more adept at sales..hell the dude tried to sell me a 42" flatty while dropping wack on the lappy...lol!!!

If you can, go to one of the few remaining Dell Kiosks (no more left in the states only in Canada), bring them a printout of the american price and the canadian price for the exact same system, you will definitly get a deal. Don't waste your time with Dell India or phone sales.

So no one knows any? I have had no luck with any of the Dell Canada reps I've talked to. And is there still a difference in price between cdn and us sites? I've built an XPS 1530 with same specs on both sites and they came out to be the same...maybe i'm not doin something right.
