I ordered the 9400 in my sig over a week ago now, and it's still in Pre-Production phase. I asked Dell about it, and all they are saying is "We will look into it for you, sorry for any inconvenience". Anyone else experience this? I wonder if there's low supply on something now (like the 7800 in the past). 7900GS? T2500?

    your assumption is probably correct.

a potential silver lining is that you may be able to complain about the delay and get a freebie or two thrown at you for your inconvenience.

Yeah, I e-mailed back asking what's the part that's causing the hold up. If it's the T2500, I'd definitely drop that to a T2400 if they'll give me another gig ram, and if it speeds up the order.

Yea, there seems to be a delay. I ordered my original 9400 about a week ago which had to be cancelled because of a screw up in the order. 5 days into the order it was still in pre-production. I placed my new order 2 days ago and it has not hit pre-production yet. I'm getting annoyed.
