Anyone have their 1520 ship after a delay?

Just curious, But I remember some users having had their midnight blue 1520's delayed until today, the 26th of July (I think this was the case anyways). I had my order delayed until the 30th and I was interested in hearing if anyone with a delayed order has had their laptop shipped out yet or not. I really don't think I could survive another delay because I need a notebook for college ASAP.

 

mine was originally aug 1st to ship now its aug 7 and i need it for college by the 17 so wtf man.

 

noup, my original ship date was july 19, then it got delayed to july 26, today it got delayed to Aug 2, this sucks , why didnt they tell me there was a blue covers shortage, i wanted the yellow, but i was like, mmm it wont look to professional to make a presentation with a yellow laptop, this big delay would have been a great excuse for me to order the yellow one, my favorite color is blue but i like vivid colors, thats why i liked yellow better, bad move dell, this was really bad... shame on you!

 

Ordered july 6th, est ship aug 6th, delayed to aug 16th. Not very happy here.

 

I ordered on July 9th and mine is delayed until August 28. This is rediculous, I order a spring green one, upgraded the display and dell has yet to give me a reason as to why it isn't shipping. This is not what I expect from Dell...

They advertised the 1520 on the 9th as beat the school rush and have it on time for your first day. I start on the 28th, this is simply not acceptable...

 

Yeah this delay really does suck. I ordered mine back on July 1st, and the original ship date was July 19th. I am now on my third shipping delay and am now being told it won't ship until August 28th. I'm just really upset that I warned when I ordered this that there was anything back ordered, I wasn't informed until after the 2nd delay. There is no way that this is going to get to me before I go away for school.
