    Dear All:
Had to ask if anyone had to reinstall their operating system due to anykind of problem(s)? Just wondering if I should ask Dell whether my recent Inspiron700m would have the discs included or would bit be like Sony who does not include the XP discs..

Someone told me that I would have to ask Dell's Support to get the downloads or actual discs from them. Or maybe I should just buy my own XP Home version?

    Please advise. Thank you.
    Sincerely,
    Macmac

Unless a recent policy change I don't know about, the disks should ship with the unit.

    Dear IllegalOperation:
I was told by Dell that I would have to call Dell Tech Support for the discs. Maybe its the licensing. And maybe that is why it is free - Pro was about $70.00 extra but since my needs did not require the full Pro version, the Home version is good enough.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Sincerely,
    Macmac
