So I called Dell's Auto service this morning to check the status of my order which has an estimated ship date of tomorrow.
I put in my order number and the automative system tells me my order has shipped and to check later for a confirmation number, so of course I'm all happy and excited.
So a little later I get on the website to see about a tracking number and it still says in production.
I call back to the auto system and now it also says it's currently in production in the build stage.
I know it's possible that I entered the incorrect account number this morning, but just seemed like it was a big quincidence that who ever's order I entered shipped this morning with no tracking number yet....I guess it is possible though.
/sigh - Now i'm dissappointed~ Weeehhhhhhhhhhhh!

Try online again periodically. I am sure the online system is synched with the phone system.
-
whats this automated number, does it work for the dell small business orders?
-
I'm sure it does~
I'm still in build stage with estimated shipping date of tomorrow.
Future of getting my 1520 on time is looking quite the opposite of good.
Oh well. What ya gonna do! -
My online status showed "In Production" a few days after the unit was shipped... I think it changed to Shipped the day before I got my 1520
I would try the online chat that dell offers and get someone to give you details.
Anyone ever experience this?
