I put it in hibernate, but when I try to turn it back on its just a black screen and the fans turn on but nothing happens.
Also, anyone have a fix for the jerky touchpad that happens after you close/open your lid?
This is for the M1530 of course, forgot to state in the title

If your problem is the same as mine, it seems there are many reported instances on these forums and a possible fix in SP1 or an early hotfix.

I had this problem in my dv9700t. HP said it is a software problem. SOmeone posted the same problem in Alienware's m15x.

mattireland It used to be the iLand..
a) I shouldn't use hibernate because of the extra hard disk space it uses.
b) Just make sure that you're battery isn't low when you're trying to come out of hibernate - some notebooks don't like it very much.
Anyone else have this hibernate mode problem?
