I am currently looking at a couple of XPS m1330's on it. I was just wondering who here has bought off of the Dell Outlet, and what kind of condition yours arrived in.

I purchased from the Dell outlet, and my laptop looks absolutely like brand new!

So far, after two weeks, I'm thrilled!

Not sure how you can really go wrong. If it arrives, and you're unhappy with it, you have 20 days to send it back to Dell. Dell even pays return shipping!

    How can you lose?

(I saved just under $700! Not too shabby)

Wow! If the XPS you got is what you have in your signature, you found a nice one with alot of discount, especially if it looks brand new.

I got mine (Scratch & Dent) looking like brand new, with the only mark being some fingerprints here and there, and the green sticker on the bottom.

    I got mine for $579. :)

I bought a Vostro 1500 from the outlet store and had to send mine back due to multiple issues. I went and ordered a new one instead during a recent sale.

Guess I wasn't one of the lucky ones. :(

My M1730 is from Dell outlet. Its appearance looks like new, but there is a wobbling in a small area of the screen. I requested an exchange. It takes time to make request and to wait for the replacement. However, I think it is definitely worthy.

Dell return policy covers 21 days. If you find anything wrong with your laptop, you can always return or exchange until you satisfy.

I bought a M1730 (saved a good 1k), its flawless. Looks brand new, works great, minus a refurb sticker at the bottom.

My brother bought a 1530 and his screen had 5 dead pixels, we called and they sent a guy to replace it, now his is perfect too.

    I would definately recommend it.

    Jeff.

One thing to keep in mind if you request a refund they don't credit you for the shipping fee that's if you had to pay for it at the time of the sale. It cost me $19.99 for my Vostro and I just got credited today minus the !9.99 for shipping. Bummer. :(

Yeah, that's the one I purchased. Price was under $1,050!

I bought a XPS M140 notebook from Dell Outlet a couple of years ago, and it arrived in flawless condition in all new packaging. All the manuals, CD,s peripherals, etc., were in sealed packaging. The notebook was beautiful and didn't have a scuff to be seen.

My brother-in-law bought an Inspiron from Dell outlet a couple of months ago and his experience was exactly like mine. Anyone can get a lemon obviously, but in general I'd feel fine about ordering from Dell Outlet.

I've bought two desktops and one XPS M1330 from the Outlet with no problem. I saved about $800 on the M1330 with a 15% off coupon.

I bought my scratch/dent Dell XPS M1730 from the Dell Outlet. It was pretty close to new but had a few flaws: 1) scratched plastic cover plates 2) dead gaming LED in the screen cover 3) 7+ bad pixels in the LCD display. Fortunately I also purchased Dell's complete care warranty. Every component listed above was replaced, and now I'm looking at a new-looking XPS M1730.

Easily saved ~$2500 going this route, or about 50% the price of a new equivalent model.

I got my 1720 from the outlet. It sucked so badI had to send it back.

They replaced it in short order, and with a brand new one.

A friend purchases his notebooks from the outlet, and has been satisfied thus far. He only had a shipping problem one time, and that was taken care of ;) :)

Good luck with whatever you decide ;) :)

I get my 'scratch and dent' XPS 1530 tomorrow so will let you know how it is.

    Only cost me £480 for a 2.1Ghz C2D, 3GB RAM, 320GB HDD, 1280 x 800 Truelife Display.

    Bargin.

Got the XPS M1530 in my signature for $1300. No problems at all. I'd buy from them again.

Ok my XPS 1530 just arrived. It looks almost perfectly new, just a small mark on the front in the corner.

However I did not get everything in the box that I was told would still be there. Will need to call them. The Wallet for the Manual and Discs was missing as were the noise reduction earphones and most importantly the slip case for the laptop was not there.

Hope I can get them to send me them.

    Edit:
After speaking to a nice woman on the phone she said that they would arrange to have the missing parts sent out to me. I don't know if they actually will though.
