Yes I bought a scrach and dent from the dell outlet, the scrach wasnt even noticable, i did have blue screen and crashing issues when i recieved it because of a hardware issue but dell replaced it with a brand new laptop with same specs for free so for $900 i got a brand new $1600 laptop

I have purcahsed 3 notebooks from dell outlet in the past. It's great, I'd recommend it! At the time, I saved around 50% on the XPS M140 I had purchased.

I bought a scratch and dent, and after using it over a month, the only difference I can see is the 600 bucks I saved vs ordering the same config new with the deals and coupons available at the time, go for it, my next dell will more than likely be from the outlet as well

Yeah, I've bought from the outlet as well; and the only thing I noticed that was different was the huge price savings. There was a small paint chip on the white trim of the M140, hence the scratch and dent tag; but it's run flawlessly.

They are probably better than my brand new one, which is going back to the repair depot for the second time in two weeks. Needless to say this is their last chance before I'm demanding some serious compensation.

Add me to the list of satisfied Outlet shoppers; saved a good amount of cash at the time, got a pretty nicely configured refurbished M140. I'd definitely consider picking up a system there again, if the price is right.

If you decide to pick something up on Dell Outlet, don't hesitate when you see a good deal; blink, and someone else will grab it. :p

    Edit: Saw this on techbargains:

    Dell Outlet has 15% off refurbished Dell Inspiron 640m/E1405, 6400/E1505, 9400/E1705, 6000, 700m, 710m, XPS M140, M170, and M1710 notebooks priced at $699 or above with Code: NP16KKL8DK1T4H Exp 7/7 11:59pm CT or after 400 uses.

Not sure if it's still valid, but hopefully someone can make use of it. Enjoy.
