    Anybody has MediaDirect 2.0 for E1705 Software CD?

    I requested the MediaDirect 2.0 software for my Ispiron E1705 laptop, but I hear that a lot of people don't have this cd or when asked dell to ship it, they never got the cd. Does anyone actually have THE SOFTWARE MediaDirect2.0 CD for their E1705 Inspiron Laptop? I'm not talking about the MediaDirect repair utility but a dell cd that has the full version of MediaDirect 2.0 for E1705? I just like to know. Thanks.

    Try looking if you can download this stuff from Dell first. I asked Dell to ship me a drivers disk but later realized their drivers were all online so I wasted their time and money by having them ship me a drivers disk.

    DID that, no luck. Dell does not have the software. Also, i need version 2, not 1 cause it will not install in my E1705 laptop.

    You need to oder this:

    Item #: DH371 Kit,Software,Dell Media Direct,REPAIR,West

    That is the RE-Installation CD for MediaDirect 2.0 needed to boot the I9400/E1705 & M140/630m using the MediaDirect button.
