I hear it on Americas Army, Bother in Arms, and Call of Duty 1 and 2. I would guess it has to do with the poor insulation job from the Duo Core. Even with headphones I hear it. I wish they would just give me a soundblaster card. I'm checking to see if it does it while playing a DVD right now.

DVDs work just fine.. edit go figure I should of bought a emachine

I had the same problem with Battlefield 2.
They are sending me a return box in the mail as we speak as the headphone noise drove me nuts, so I assume they either replace the motherboard or send a new system, right?

It sucks to dump money into a brand new notebook just to make it do normal functions.

UBS headphones does not stop the poping during gaming, it does stop the high pitch noise. I see they have usb sound cards on ebay for around $8 shipped that is probably a cheap fix for both problems right now.

I'd rather buy the headphones or the sound card, instead of sending it back and risking getting a bad screen on the replacement..
