So, I downloaded and try to play Supreme Commander in my E1705 machine which has the Nvidia Geforce 7800 go card. But the frame rate is horrible. I mean, it freezes all the time. I’m thinking that is because of the demo. Bugs all over. Because when I play Company of Heroes at high setting, the game is perfect. Runs really good and looks gorgeous. And by the look, Company of Heroes has way better graphics then supreme commander. Anybody else having the same problem playing supreme commander on their Dell E1705 with the Nvidia Geforce 7800 Go card???? Thanks.

Hmmm... I played the game on my M1210, but I did have to turn Fidelity to low and stuff to get a playable framerate.

Weird thing I did yesterday and worked. I’m playing the game in Windows Vista. So, before starting the game, I right clicked the supreme commander shortcut and chose "properties: "compatibility" and then I clicked "run this program in compatibility mode for:" I chose Windows XP Service Pack 2. AND the game runs really smooth. Weird!!!!! But now it works fine. :) Anyway, whoever has problems playing under Vista, try what I did. It might work for you too. :)
