Any way to get Windows Vista sticker from Dell?

Is there anyone willing to sell a good conditioned windows vista sticker to me? it should look like this:

Does anyone know how/if you can get a Windows Vista sticker from Dell? I bought my 640m during the Express Upgrade period, so I want to get rid of the "Designed for Windows XP, Windows Vista Capable" sticker once I receive the upgrade kit.

 

Probably not...they should send you a product serial number sticker to put on the bottom of the notebook though.

 

eBay might be an idea to get one.

 

Or just ask here? Many people throw away the stickers anyway, so why not give them to someone who wants them. Send them a dollar by PayPal for the trouble?

Ebay but all you will find are Vista Capable stickers right now. They replaced the case on my E1505 at depot service so I got the Core 2 Duo, Graphics by ATI Mobility and XP Vista Capable stickers. Some people toss them I like them.

 

I dont mean any disrespect here but why do you have to have a vista sticker? Do you feel that people will give your notebook extra attention if theres a vista sticker? Again, no offense but it just seems unusual to me.

If I were you then I'd get a printable sticky paper (I don't know exactly what they are called) and print it my self. Looks like an original label if you have a decent color printer.

 

i also need one. i have the glossy paper. do print in it....

No offense but do you think your going to get people saying "wow that kid is really cool now because he has vista." Most people have no idea what vista is and if they do they probably wouldnt say anything.

 

Helps to keep that swanky new look on your laptop,though whoever put the Centrino Duo sticker on mine couldn't see too straight as it's lopsided.

My centrino duo sticker is slightly lopsided too.

 

If some one doesn't know what Vista is then that person most probably will not understand any of the other stickers on the notebook either, like Centrino Duo, Windows Vista compatible, Geforce 7 series or anything else for that matter

I actually bought a Pentium M sticker and graphics by ATI stickers for my laptop off eBay. Worked out real nice.

For the people who think it is weird or whatever to put stickers like a Vista one on your laptop, I can tell you why I put my stickers on my laptop. The reason is that I did it for myself, just something I wanted to have on there. I don't really care what anyone else thinks. If people like them, great, if they don't, I don't care.

Your entitled to your opinion but I would think having vista as your os would be enough. Im not so sure you do it for yourself.

 

The first thing I did when I got my D820, was to remove ALL stickers.
I actually wished they would start using stickers that are easier to remove.

Well hello JHU, I think you talked to me regarding the VISTA STICKER over the phone. I'm trying.

I got the Intel HT, Vista Capable, and NVIDIA stickers all on eBay, and the ASUS one came with my motherboard.

 

That is a great idea! That reminds me of Phil Hartman SNL video commercial for the Chameleon XLE - the luxury car disguised as a beater (4 mismatched rims, one painted school bus yellow...simulated transmission leak that makes potential thieves take one look & say "not worth the trouble". Sorry, I could not find the video online.

I put up the Windows Vista Sicker that was posted here..Thanks to him, printed it on a glossy paper, sticked it on my laptop, its cool - same like the one i saw in markets

PCModifiers, i used the normal glossy paper and used a nice glue to stick it to my laptop.

I doubt whether i should remove it or not......what's ur opinion

Never, i cant even imagine a nvidia on a 630m......I am AWAITING FOR my XPS M1210. i have ordered it..
