there were a ****load of real nice coupons half a year back and they seemed to have vanished nowadays.. I remember looking for those evalue codes and experimenting and I was able to get 700$ off and bought an inspiron e1705 with 100gig 7200rpm, 1gig ram, 2.ghz core and gs7900 for like 1300 (rather than 2000 dollars).. it was so sweet.. anything like that around anymore? even a 100 dollar off would be great! lemme know, thanks

Half a year back you may have had the Core Duo processor, not the Core 2 Duo.

Anyways, check out the links on the front page, or the "Dell Coupons" tab on the top of this page.

If you are looking at something expensive, coupons with 20 or 30 % off might be better than coupons that give you $300 off. Try both types.

well there is this 400$ coupon, which eliminates the automatic dell-intern $250 off thingy.. so I end up with saving $150, which is great, but is there anything better atm? anything like the ones half a year ago where u literally saved hundreds of bucks?

Usually the really nice coupons come around twice a year:

    - Christmas
    - Summer

That's when you'll get the "$600 off $2000 or more" and "35% off $1500 or more" deals.
