My prediction is that their gonna roll out their new XPS line first for the 8800 geforce series video cards.

    Gonna be expensive.

Quarter 2 is when santa rosa is supposed to come out, basically spring. Its a new motherboard chipset offering a variety of enhancements over the present 945, google "Intel santa rosa" and you should find everything you want to know and more. A mobile 8800 is going to be awhile, that chip is way too hot and power hungry, the 8600 will more than likely be NV's mobile king for the bulk of this year, and it should be a good king. As for price I dont know, there are already 8800 gts desktop cards with 320MB memory for under $300 US, and they perform just as well as there 640MB brothers at resolution of 1680x1050 and lower, which is what the majoraty of gamers are locked into. The desktop 8600 cards should be rolling out early next month from what I've read, they will be even cheaper and should still stack up nicely performance wise. I just hope NV gets their Vista driver issues straightend out soon, they have the hardware in place, just poor support in Vista at the moment. And lets not forget ATI, R600 has been delayed again, but they will have their cards out by the time anyone really needs DX10 support.
