I'm just getting ready to order a new M1210 and was wondering if anyone knows of any new features or upgrades Dell will be adding soon? Blueray, bigger 7200 rpm Hd's, faster processor, faster vid card, lower price etc? Of course if I wait long enough it will change but I'm looking in say the next month or two. I just would hate to order today to find out next week something new that I may want would be available especially since I'm not in a hurry.

    Thanks!

(I actually had one ordered from the outlet but it accidentally was canceled by Dell)

    1) BlueRay - maybe considering the M1710 has it.
    2) Bigger 7200 RPM hard drives are a little way aways, and that isn't up to Dell anyway. I think the next 7200RPM is supposed to be 160GB and won't be out at a decent price until at least next summer.
    3) Faster processor - Core 2 is going to be updated in March with Santa Rosa...expect April or May update of the M1210.
    4) Faster GPU - Not for a long time. Dell nearly pulled off a miracle getting the 7400 in a 12" notebook, and it will be a long time (at least fall 07) before non-integrated DX10 graphics will hit small notebooks. Right now they are trying to hit a summer goal for a mobile 8600 GPU for 15.4"-17" notebooks, and that is going to be difficult given the power requirements for DX10.
    5) Lower price - Maybe, but only because of holiday deals...no new tech is coming out soon that would lower the prices of current technology. The M1210 base price hasn't changed for months.
