This will be my first laptop :)

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7100 (1.8GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
Genuine Windows XP Home Edition, SP2
15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA LCD Display with TrueLife™
2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz, 2 Dimm
120G 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive edit
    8X CD/DVD Burner w/ double-layer DVD+R write capability, w/o Roxio Creator
    256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8600M GT
    Dell Wireless 1390 802.11g Wi-Fi Mini Card
    High Definition Audio 2.0
85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery

    All for about $1,100 Canadian.

It's mainly for University... but I want to play some games also :D

Any last things I should know before I get it? I don't want to regret a single thing after paying this much.

    Thanks.

Go for it dude. This system seems good to me. The only thing that bothers me is the 5400RPM HD, but I dont think that will matter much.

Yeah I've seen some things regarding it, but there is no way to change it on the Dell site. Oh well.

No worries. HDD's are easily changeable down the road. Just make sure you request for the DVD's for the OS during the build.

Looks good, a Bluetooth module can come in handy (but that can also be installed later)

I would order 1GB instead, 150 ain't worth it. I'm sure you can find better prices.
