normally, new dell laptops surfaces on dell outlet after 2 months of official shipment.
but this may not be the same case with adamo.
its doubtful adamo will sell in volume, premium 13.3" never sells well, for example apple has never disclosed how many macbook airs has shipped.
my guesstimate is adamo will be on sale with coupons available before 7/4/09 holiday time.
lowest price after coupon will be 60% of new laptop=$1200, average outlet price would be much higher.

My guess would be that it will appear sometime in July in very limited quantities. The $2000 "Admire" might run around $1400, while the $2800 "Desire" could go for maybe $2000...

These are complete guesstimates, by the way, so I could be way off.

That would be based on..Sales..Quantity of returns & how many cancels in production, etc...And, when Dell decides to release them to the Outlet finally.

I would hope that by August, we might start seeing a flow of Adamos..and much better pricing. My *guesstimate* would be bet. $1200 - $1500.

    Where, they should be priced..now!

    Cin ;) :)

Oh you're telling me. If these would have been in the $1500 or less price range I would have snagged one immediately but I guess I'll have to wait.

if precision m6400 covet edition can be sold through dell outlet, so could adamo.
im expecting refurb adamos as soon as dell takes off "new" from adamo 13, dell is tagging adamos as new adamo 13.

I predict the Adamo at under 1K with a coupon.

I saw a Covet with a RGB LED screen and quad-core CPU for $2200. That is more than twice the price in retail of an Adamo. So by this formula, you should see it at $1200+ and less than a grand with a nice coupon.
