I hope their are some out there that are as good as a LG lcd.

There are happy Samsung owners, most of the WUXGA. There are plenty of people who have been happy, though most have been unhappy with the WSXGA+ ones where only very few were good. Since WSXGA+ is discountinued, it shouldnt be that bad.
However, even with good samsungs, the LG always was the better one in terms of brightness, color, etc.
Though I highly recommend LED as the screen they use is Chi Mei, which has been perfect for everyone and blows Samsung and LG out of the water. LED backlit is the shiza. -
I have thw WUXGA, and has Forte predicted, i have no complaints and am entirely satisfied. Granted, the M1530 WUXGA panels are all manufactured by samsung, so it isn't like I could do anything about it, but I love mine. It's perfectly bright, not grainy at all. So yes, there are satisfied Samsung panel owners. Then again, I don't know what the lower resolution panels look like.

Mine was shipped in the last week or so that this screen was available. Not sure if that's significant. -
My inspiron 1520 has a 1280x800 samsung panel. Works fine for me.
-
My 1440x900 17" Samsung Matte SEC3258 is stunning.
-
The only Samsung's that had problems where the 1680x1050 ones that Dell no longer offers. The rest of Samsung's LCDs are for the most part top notch.
I am happy with my Samsung WUXGA LCD. -
i have a stuck pixel how do i fix it?
-
Theres those stuck pixel fixers which flash random colors of red green and blue very fast at a pace that would give you seizures. Leave it on for a couple of minutes and see if it fixes.
Sometimes dead pixels go away after a certain period of time.
Though the M1530 I got didn't have any stuck pixels at all, neither did my replacement, so if the above fails, get a replacement. -
i ran those programs for 1 hr and still no go..called in for replacement
-
hey how do u check to see what model screen u have?
the WUXGA screen on my m1530 seems really grainy to me.
Any happy Samsung lcd screen owners?
