Has anyone bought a Dell recently from Dell Canada? More specifically an XPS 1330? I was just wondering what keyboard layout are they shipping out with the Canadian Dells. Are they using the USA american style, the standard that was used in Canadian notebooks for a while. Or are they using the new multilingual keyboard for french/english users. Such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout#Canadian_Multilingual_Standard

I hope its not the later :(

The 1330 that I bought last September from Dell Canada has a US keyboard layout.
    Hope that helps.

I'm pretty sure most keyboards in north america has the US layout. Every keyboard I've ever typed on was US, even ones I bought from China

Unless you order it with a French OS (which I don't even recall seeing an option for anymore), you'll get an English keyboard.

There is a French version of the entire Dell Canada site. I'm sure you could get French layouts on the keyboards there to go with French versions of Windows and Microsoft Office. I'd phone them and see if they have multilingual keyboards.

    ^^ Guess that's why I never see a French option anymore! :)

I wouldn't go that far. If they thought logically they wouldn't make a person cancel their entire order just to change one part of it! :p
