I am having problems with my 1520 and 1505. Text has re, green bleed around it and shadows. My special effects are off. This has nothing to do with cleartype. Someone mentioned it is because it is antiglare and they have a special coating around the lcd that causes this. If anybody notices any thing please post. Thanks

Yeah I mentioned that (heard from friend who has owned 20+ laptops) the anti-glare is actually a special coating applied via huge "stamping" machine on "default" screens and it's easy to push too hard on the sensitive LCD.

I hope to be getting my anti-glare 1520 by mid-August.

So then If that is the problem weird that tech support on phone and 2 at my house never mentioned anything like that. I guess I have to get a gloss lcd and I should not have this problem.

Do you think i have settings wrong? 2 lcd replacements and 1 motherboard replaced since the graphics card is in the motherboard. Hmm
