I really find the Antec Notebook Cooler mat very very useful. E1505 gets warm and runs above 105 F when kept overnight with this faster RPM hard disk.

The chill mat brought wonders and it is now not going above 80 F under full load and long usage.

    It is a must!

How does it fit? The E1505 is the m1710?

I am buying one and would like to know how important it is to add cooling. What about sound?

It does not have any fitting arrangement. We just have to keep the laptop on the mat and then keep the mat on your lap and use it. It does not slip at all...

Talking about its size, it should be pretty handy if you have a good laptop carry case. But the thing is you want to use it if you are using the laptop for extended period of time and want it to run cool. So, when you are on the go, you won't probably use it for more than 3 hours.

A must buy - but it fits 15.4" screen. I am not sure for anything bigger than that.

Antec brand is much much better on performance as compared to Targus. We have seen their cabinets, power supplies, LED fans and Antec is brilliant though a bit overpriced.
