Antec notebook cooler is an amazing product no doubt.. I have a post about it somewhere over here.

But it suites 15 inch laptops the best. if you have a 17 inch laptop..I think it is going to be a bit clumsy for you to hold it on the lap with the cooler sitting below it. Try it.. if you think you can live with it then go for it. It reduces the temperature of the DELL laptops by atleast 10 degree celsius.

If you happen to buy the fast hard disk i.e. one with 7200 RPM then you need this as it heats up.

Antec Cooler is available for around 40 bucks..

Antec is better than Targus..except that Antec has a bright LED which is a bit disturbing at nights.. and the USB connection cable is short.. but ok .

I use the cooler master notepal, I'm very happy with it with a few subtle mods, 1) revers the fan flow,2) put some rubber feet on the back if the note book is 15.4 or larger,as the taper at the top prevents the notebokks feet from resting properly

my little bro has a chill mat, I dont really like it

my gripe with the chill matt is its plastic, I went with the notepal since its solid aluminum, its heavy enough to feel solid and stable and it fits in my laptop backback with no problems at all
