    Why is it I can't apply the 40% off coupon to the 700m I configured?? It is over $999, but every time I apply it, it says "Coupon has been previously applied"?? It's not like this is the first coupon I have used on there, and all the others have worked!!

    I'm so confused...

    40 % coupons are one time use coupons only... someone used it bfore you did.

    Last week when I placed my order for the I9300, I use the 40% coupon to buy my laptop. I think for that 40% coupon they had the 1st 4000 people who use the coupon then the coupon would be no good anymore. Each coupon is different and Dell set the limit on each coupon. Sometimes it's good for 1 time and sometimes they may have a 10,000 limit on the coupon and at times it could be unlimited.

    I wasn't sure if the 40% coupon from last week was good for the 1st 4000 or 5000 people who use the coupon.

    Just to clear up the coupon confusion...

    The coupons that are available on this website expire after a certain number of uses or by a certain date, which ever comes first. The number of uses is usually 5000 or 10,000 but never just 1 person or a few people. If a coupon expires early, sometimes dell will issue a new one.

    The 40% off the 999 was considered a hot coupon since it was the best deal of the summer so far, and it reached its maximum number of uses. Dell might issue another in the next few days, or maybe one closer to September with all of the back to school sales.
