I searched the forums a bit and didn't find a thread that really got into the "meat" of what I want to hear, so here it goes.

I have an Inspiron 1705/9400 from Dell.ca... had one, until I spilled a rather large cup of black coffee directly onto the keyboard. It took a second or two for the screen to die and a few more seconds for the power indicator to blink its last blink.

I called Dell and they said that since I have complete care I can send it back and have it repaired or replaced.

Now I am waiting here wondering what I am going to end up with. I figure that I'll get one of these results; my computer back, smelling like coffee, and kinda working again; a refurb of the same model; A refurb of a newer model with equal or greater components.

Anyway, I would love to hear about your experience with complete care. What happened to your laptop and what did you end up with in the end?
What are the chances of receiving the same computer back with refurb components (it was a pretty bad spill - little less than a litre maybe)?
