Another one? How about they issue a coupon for the x50v ? They haven't released any of those lately...
-
how often does dell do the $750 off? are they just going crazy w/ it the past couple weeks to meet a sales goal, or is this the norm for them?
-
Actually since the 9300 and XPS Gen 2 releases, they have had the 750 coupons. I used one back in March, but back then it was a better deal. Now, it seems like it is the exact same coupon every week. During the spring, they had some pretty hot coupons. I know a couple of times the coupons had expired within hours. Since the beginning of summer it has been the same ones almost each time. There was a couple of 35% off, but they weren't that hot.
It seems like since Dell has started offering low-mid-high system configurations instead of just the plain basic system with you choosing everything, the coupons have just not been as good. -
would you consider this a hot deal compared to the older coupons?

"when you purchase your computer with Dell Preferred Account "
What is the Dell Preferred Account (DPA)?
A The Dell Preferred Account is a revolving line of credit that provides an easy way to finance your initial Dell Home and Home Office purchase as well as add software, peripherals, or even a new system to an account at any time up to your credit limit. See the overview and details section for more information.
this time this deal is not for me. -
yea it isnt, and besides, u can't configure 9300s with a gforce 6800
-
sorry, i didn't see the DPA part. This coupon is definetly not that good. We should be getting a new issuance soon.
Copperhead,
That actually is a pretty good deal for Dell's business site. Although I would try to increase the HDD to 60gig if you plan on doing a lot of burning and possibly a 1.73ghz depending on how much it costs. Anything above 1.73 isn't worth the price. I can't really compare it to the price back in the spring since the coupons don't apply to Dell's business, plus I don't remember the price for the 700m back then .

well the big thing about home and business is that the coupons are only good with Dell's Home, so you might be able to get a better deal using the coupon.
