Hey all! I have an E1505 with the 256mb ATI X1400 card. My problem is that animated gifs aren't animating (only the first frame shows up), and sometimes embedded video doesn't show up in webpages either. I booted the computer in safe mode and didn't experience these problems, which leads me to believe that the problem isn't necessarily with the video card. I also reinstalled the driver from the dell webpage, and that didn't help either. I don't know if I'm posting this in the right forum, but any advice you can give would be appreciated. Thanks!

what are you using to view the gifs and video? Is this happening in FF, IE?

I'll probably end up moving this to software so you can get better results. I'm still trying to decide if it is software (which most likely it is) or hardware.

I mainly use firefox, but the problem occurs in any browser. I spent some time being shuttled between the dell software and hardware departments on the phone, and they told me it was most likely a software problem.
