    Hey guys,

My D600 didn't came w/ internal bluetooth. I was going to buy one but when I look at how to install it. I immediately changed my mind.

    http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/latd600/sm/blue.htm#1000550

I don't want to take out so many parts and risk of having problems.

Is there an alternative way? Or should I go to one of my local computer shops to let them put it for me? Or should I forget about it?

    TIA.

You can get a rather common USB BT adapter or a less common PCI BT adapter. The former is available in quantity on Newegg. With the external adapters the benefit is that you can simply pull it out when you don't need it, but the internal adapter is the more "elegant" solution.

The keyboard, display, and palrest aren't terribly difficult to remove, though. I'd venture you at least take a look at the process in the manual before you totally give up on the internal card.

Do a search on Best Buy. I was there last week and they had a BT adapter that had a similar profile to the VX Nano receiver.

Go on ebay and search dongle bluetooth usb adapter. Voila, 20 bucks and you got bluetooth. Only disadvantage is it sticks out the side. I payed for the internal.

Which I did. I am not going to do it.

I don't need an extra wifi.

Hmm, well I have a USB bluetooth adapter (it was for my old laptop), but mine is sticking out litterly. But w/ this USB bluetooth...possible. Are there anything else similar like this?
