The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    AlienFX and iTunes

    I have seen some posts of how to get the AlienFX to work with iTunes and everytime I try I can't get it to work. I copy the dll from the specified folder but when it comes to pasting it I don't have the folders as decribed in the intructions such as appdata. I searched for it and couldn't be found. I can easily get the FX to work on WMP but want it on iTunes. So far I go the my hard drive> users>MY NAME there is no appdata though. there is roaming, but when I click on it there is just an intel folder for the wirelesss card.
