3X the charges (lifecycle) and better charging performance to boot.

So its 3X the price right? I won't be holding my breath until we know how much this new tech will fetch.

Looks too promising. I highly doubt this kind of technology would jump that much in terms of performance.

3x the performqnce sounds too good to be true.

Also Penryn based systems gives around 3-4 hours on most regular batteries and 5-6 hours on extended batteries. As more and more things are integrated on the laptop power consumption should improve.

Yeah don't get me started about DELL and its battery efficiency I am an onion skin thickness away from canceling my order.

Some one tell me the difference between

    P9500 6MB cache 2.53 ghz 1066mhz FSB 25W TDP
    vs.

    T9400 6MB cache 2.53 ghz 1066mhz FSB 35W TDP

Intel could have gone with a way better CPU 25W TDP instead Intell probably sold them the 35W TDP version way cheaper.

looks liek DELL saved $70.00 bucks per chip times thousands of chips, I would love to have a Studio 17 with a P9500 25W TDP CPU, Would probably get 4+ hours battery life easy on max settings

My DELL gets 1-2 hours more than an almost identical LENOVO system - only difference is mine has 3gb of memory and the LENOVO systems have 2gb of memory.
