    Long time lurker here (no n00b). I'm debating to buy a 1500 vostro tonight w/ the free shipping or wait till thursday and pray for a better deal. I have a gut feeling if i order tonight i'll get f*cked come thursday. So i'll leave it up to you guys, buy or wait?????

    why not order now? that way you get it sooner.
    You can always cancel and reorder for a better deal.

    No penalty if you cancel and re-order. But I think the great deals on the vostros end 8/1, so I would order tonight if I were you.

    08/13. Kinda sucks because when i was looking at it earlier it said 08/10 but i didn't order till after midnight and by then it changed to 08/13

    You might get it sooner. When I first ordered, my ESD was 8/14. When my payment was authorized, it went down to 8/9. But none of that matters because mine is coming tomorrow or Wednesday. woohoo. Dell's estimates are always off.
