    Is that the hard drive on your D630 you have replaced? May I ask why you have replaced that so quickly? I seem to remember from another thread that you got the 160 GB 7200 rpm drive with your D630. Since I am thinking about the same notebook and hard drive, and I would be concerned if that is in need of replacing so soon.

    By the way, how much noise does the 160 GB 7200 rpm make in the D630? Could you hear it when idle/active? Did the palmrest get hot above it?

    Since you have replaced it: what is the exact model of the 160 GB drive?
