I would inquire about the warranty since it often not very long. I know there are some good deals on Latitudes with three year onsite warranties at the Dell Outlet store.

no, you can buy extra warranty for up to 3 years with accidental damage protection and everything on refurbed models on dell outlet.

Buying refurb from Dell usually turns out pretty well from what I've heard. It never hurts to look into it.

Using Dell outlet is a great way to save money and still get a great laptop. Like kguo7 said, you have the option to choose what kind of warranty you want. Be aware that there is a difference between refurbs and regular outlet purchases, also there are "previously order new" which are laptops that have never been opened before.

i bought three desktops and one notebook all have turned out to be good. I bought an E1505 for around 600 with carrying case and quicksnap. Nothing appears to be wrong. You can upgrade warranty later which may save you some money.
