    Hi everyone,
Just was wondering whether you guys can solve my questions about xps 1330!!
I have narrowed down to xps 1330 and cannot decide between the one with T5250 or T7200 processor! I think the one with T5250 has an intergrated intel video card while the one with T7200 has a nVidia one!
I am hoping to future proof my laptop for another 3 years atleast and within this 3 years i will be using it a lot in terms of writing my thesis.....
and certainly I wont use this laptop for gaming!!!
it would be nice if you guys can help me!
Ah..the final one....the price the one with T5250 is 100pounds less than the one with T7200....

Hi, processors are seperate from the video systems. You can order either of the processors with either of the video cards. As for the processors (I am assuming you are talking about the 1.5 vs 2.0 GHz processors), it depends on what you are using the machine for apart from writing your thesis. Are you planning on any gaming, multimedia work, etc..? If it is just word processing and internet then the lowest processor will work fine.

ps. oops, some overlapping posts there, lol!

    hi guys,
    thanks for your replies.
sorry i should have been bit more detail about the usage!
I am not planning to use it for gaming!!!
I will be using multiple applications at the same time for ex, i will be running modelling softwares, while using MS office or playing music...also i will be using the laptop for watching movies (a lot) while travelling!!!
Also, i will be certainly looking to run XP on the machine....my softwares are incompatible with VISTAAAA
also i am wondering about the screen, is the resolution good enough to use it for long time!!! say about 4-5 hours???
once again thanks a lot guys for your help!
