I recently followed techifan1's excellent guide on how to copper mod 1557s.

Fortunately the dimensions of copper that he suggests work perfectly with 1555s also.

I added the copper shims to my 1555 today and it has done wonders for my gpu temps.

Before the mod I was getting GPU idle temps of 60-65c,
now my GPU idle temps are approximately 37c,
and before when under heavy load, instead of getting GPU temps of between 80-90c,
I'm now getting temps under load of approximately 65c.
