Unlike my Desktop, where I am given a choice to manipulate the bass volume in the advanced portion of volume controls, the option is unavailable on my E1505.
I plan on purchasing some aftermarket 2.1 speakers and the subwoofer doesnt have an on/off switch. Is there a program I can use that will let me turn off the bass from the computer?

    Thanks

I guess it depends on the sound card itself. For some things, I think any program with an equilizer will allow you to drop low sounds from the computer. For others... I don't think so. The speakers must have a separate bass control, why not just use that?
